Beacon Academy accurately measures the progress of all students in order to provide them with the differentiated learning that is required to increase academic achievement. From the results of the Kindergarten Readiness Assessment to Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) to STAR scores, students at Beacon Academy is experiencing growth. The accomplishments are a result of the students’ hard work and highlight the impact that the EEG education model and invested staff have upon student excellence.
2016 Test Administration: A total of 66.7% met or exceeded the state mandated cut score of 263 for the language and literacy portion of the Kindergarten Readiness Assessment (KRA). See the graphs below for further accomplishments.
Beacon Academy experienced an overall 31.2% increase in average scaled scores from 446 to 585 for Kindergarten literacy in ELA from Fall 2016 to Winter 2017.
The average scaled score for grade 3 Reading increased 70 points from 205 to 275, an impressive 34.1% increase.
The average scaled score for grade 7 Math increased 99 points from 664 to 763, an impressive 14.9% increase.
